Mithilfe des Batterietrennschalters kann der Stromfluss am Minuspol schnell und unkompliziert unterbrochen werden. Bereits durch eine Umdrehung der praktischen Rändelschraube ist das korrekte Abklemmen der Batterie sichergestellt.
Ideal für Saisonfahrzeuge oder auch für landwirtschaftliche Maschinen geeignet. Durch die sekundenschnelle Trennung des Stromkreises verhindert der Trennschalter eine ungewollte Batterieentladung und kann zudem als Diebstahlschutz eingesetzt werden.
Zur Montage wird die bisher angeschlossene Standard-Polklemme vom Minuspol der Batterie gelöst und direkt an das untere Ende des Trennschalters angeschlossen. Dieser wird danach auf den Minuspol montiert und der Stromkreis ist nach dem Festdrehen der Rändelschraube wieder geschlossen.
