Der SWI-CAN Adapter ist ein Ergänzungsmodul welches in Kombination mit den Lenkradfernbedienungsadaptern SWI-X, SWI-JACK, SWI-ECL2, SWI-PS oder SWI-RC die Fernbedienung des Radios über das Lenkrad ermöglicht. Dieser Adapter konvertiert die CAN-Bus Signale des Fahrzeugs in Steuerungsbefehle für das Radio / Navigationssystem um.

Der Lenkradfernbedienungs-Adapter SWI-CAN2 ergänzt die Funktion folgender Adapter:
Lenkradfernbedienungsadapter SWI-JACK (für JVC, Alpine, Clarion und Kenwood), SWI-PS (für Pioneer und Sony) und SWI-X (universal)
